CONSIGNMENT CRITERIA
Consignment Fee Schedule:

Base Fee: $125 - Includes advertising on main website, social media platforms, and our partner advertising sites. Includes up to 8 photos and 2 videos.
​
Premium Fee: $225 - Includes Black type pedigree from Robin Glenn Pedigrees, advertising on main website, social media platforms, and our partner advertising sites, as well as premium listings on major online equine platforms such as ehorses.com Includes up to 15 photos and 5 videos.

Late Entry Fee: $325 (Late entry to upcoming sale is June 25th -28th, 2023.

Photos: Left & right side profile, front and hind views, three quarter view are minimum photo requirements. You can submit additional photos as well.

Veterinary Statement: A veterinary statement by a licensed veterinarian describing the overall health and soundness of the horse for its intended purpose must accompany all consignments (required to be received within 10 days of start of sale). Ultrasound exam required for all embryos.

Radiographs: Horses with a current set of radiographs within the past 6 months typically sell for higher prices providing they x-ray fairly clean. Current radiographs taken within 6 months of the start date of the sale are highly suggested, but not required, for all horses 2 yrs old and older. We suggest standard views of left and right stifles, left and right hocks, and standard views of both front naviculars.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do you determine the consignment fee?
​
A. The consignment fee is based upon our cost of advertising your horse before and during the sale, as well as the cost of the black type pedigree pages. We have several partner sites, as well as our own website that we use for advertising and there are hefty advertising fees associated with their use. Through our partner advertising platforms that we use, your horse reaches over 2 million potential buyers. We also provide custom graphics for your horse and provide them to you for you to use in advertising as well!

Q. Why are you suggesting radiographs on 2 and older horses but not weanlings and yearlings?
​
A. Weanlings and yearlings have too many things that change radiographically during their growth stages that will often disappear or improve by the time they turn 2. From 2 yrs old and older you can get a more accurate representation of the horse radiographically because the bones are more mature.

Q: Should I have my horse disease panel tested?
​
A: While it is not required to have your horse panel tested, it is something that buyer's will take into heavy consideration. If your horse has bloodlines known to carry any of the five panel diseases or IMM, it is a good idea to test your horse. You can pull hair and submit your sample to UC Davis Veterinary Lab, Animal Genetics, or Etalon Diagnostics. Buyers want to know what they are purchasing. While many buyers do not mind if a horse is a carrier of a disease on the panel, it is the ethically the better decision to test and disclose so buyer's know how to care and manage any disease the horse may have.

Q: Why are your requirements more strict than other online sales?
​
A: We believe in selling quality horses that are represented accurately. There are just too many horror stories in this industry of people purchasing horses from sales and the horse ends up having a major soundness, illness, or disease issue that was undisclosed. We want to help PREVENT that from happening to our buyers. Our sellers should feel confident about the horse they are offering for sale, and our buyers should feel confident about the horse they are interested in purchasing. We do our best to only do business with people who are ethical and honest in their business dealings. If you are uncomfortable disclosing an issue your horse has, this is not the appropriate sale for your horse.
